BEVERLY ALLEN

Beverly Allen is a legal powerhouse with a passion for family law. Armed with a bachelor's degree in law and diversity from Fairhaven College at Western Washington University, she honed her skills at the Whatcom Civil Rights Project, where she discovered the transformative power of advocacy and how legal services can make a world of difference for families.

A proud member of the National Guard, Beverly served hundreds of soldiers and their families with distinction. She went above and beyond in helping them prepare wills, separation agreements, and even counseling them on how to represent themselves in divorce cases. Her unwavering commitment earned her the prestigious Army Commendation Medal in 2019. With the rank of captain, she completed her 8-year term of service, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and dedication.

Beverly's military experience gave her a unique perspective and the necessary skills to help service members and their families navigate the complexities of family law. In her current practice, she is a creative and passionate attorney who is always on the lookout for the best possible outcome for her clients. Whether it's through settlement or trial, Beverly is committed to fighting for the rights of her clients and helping them achieve the outcome they deserve. STEPHEN WILLIS

Licensed for five years, Stephen Willis brings a wealth of insight and compassion to his practice. His educational background is impressive, with a double major in English and Philosophy from the University of Utah. His respect and admiration for the development of law and societal foundations are evident in his practice. Before his legal career, Stephen served as a Cavalry Scout in the U.S. Army from 2001-2004. This military background gives him unique insight and experience, particularly in handling military family law cases. Prior to joining Nexus Counsel, Stephen was partner at Sung & Willis before branching out into his solo practice, where he dedicated his time defending at risk families. Stephen is a strong and empathetic attorney who will make sure your voice is heard.


BRANDON WILLIAMS

Brandon Williams is a dedicated family law attorney at Nexus Legal Counsel, bringing compassion, strategy, and clarity to clients navigating some of life’s most difficult transitions. A graduate of Arizona State University, Brandon earned his law degree from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law where he sharpened his commitment to client-centered advocacy. 

Brandon has successfully represented clients in both contested and uncontested divorces, including cases involving significant assets, complex parenting plans, and high-conflict dynamics. He believes that whether through negotiation or litigation, the legal process should serve to empower clients and create stability for families. 

In guardianship matters, Brandon is a fierce advocate for keeping families connected while ensuring the care and protection of vulnerable children. He understands the emotional intensity of these cases and works to make the process as seamless and supportive as possible. 

In child custody and parenting plan cases, Brandon helps clients create practical, enforceable arrangements that prioritize the well-being of children and the long-term co-parenting relationship. He brings deep experience in both initial plans and modifications, always with a focus on making life better for families.

ASH MEER

Ash Meer is a passionate advocate for justice with a unique background in storytelling, design, and trial advocacy. He earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, where he focused on plaintiff-side litigation and trial work. After law school, Ash gained hands-on legal experience at the Attorney General’s Office (Torts Division), the Northwest Justice Project, Tacomaprobono’s Housing Justice Project, Connelly Law, and Schauermann Thayer. He was awarded the Washington State Association for Justice Summer Fellowship for his dedication to client-centered advocacy.

Before becoming an attorney, Ash had a 25-year career in advertising and media, working as a writer, designer, and director across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He brings this creative expertise to the courtroom, helping clients tell their stories with clarity and impact. Ash holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Emory University and has pursued graduate studies at Temple University, American University, and the Atlanta College of Art.

Ash’s media work has been featured at the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, and film festivals around the world. He also contributed graphic design to 99%: The Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film, which premiered on HBO. Just before entering law school, Ash completed editorial work on a feature documentary about Seattle artist Charles Krafft.
